- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I have not had a primary care doctor for over three months. I had been told by Meghan Grant's staff that she was taking new patients. My appointment was set for September 18th. I waited. I found out I have cancer and have had a double mastectomy. I had been looking forward to developing a relationship with a doctor. I got a call yesterday from Dr. Grant's office saying she "had to cancel my appointment, she lost her nurse?" And I was told "Dr. Grant isn't accepting new patients?" Keep in mind, I did an intake three months ago, and was told she was accepting new patients.And, why let me sit and wait for months before the call? I do NOT understand this, at all. I waited, now I have to search, again for a new doctor. Could it be my insurance? Medicare, Medicaid? I really don't understand how this happened. One week before I had an appointment. Will be calling the office on Monday, now that the surprise has worn off and I am questioning the action of their office.April 09, 2017by Denise Parzych
